It's as if you've been struck over the head; you feel completely disoriented and dizzy. Willing your eyes to open, you think you can make out flickers of fire. As your vision stabilizes and clears, you find that you're in a place of darkness and sparks. You stand on stone, in which there are bits of some sort of crystal; you can't tell whether the bits are different colors, or if they're just clear quartz reflecting the reds, oranges, and yellows.
Where am I? you wonder. Looking out, you find that the path you are on seems to be stretched across the night sky. While there are no railings, and the fall would be an endless tumble through space, you feel, for the most part, at ease in the odd land. And while it seems to are alone, you swear that you can feel the presences of others around you, mixed in with the fire-like flickering stars.
You walk along, taking in all the bits of brightness around you. Finally, your eyes come to rest once more on the path in front of you. You are captivated, nearly hypnotized, by the shimmering stones flecked throughout the stone.
Hoofbeats permeate the air, and you bring your gaze away from the path. You stop, and the stallion in front of you does the same.
"I am Zythium'hiu'r'Zorie. To meet the others, you must step into the stars."
